David Heels is Head of Finance for Rural Solutions. He is a Chartered Accountant, and has an MBA. David joined Rural Solutions in January 2007 following two years as a senior housing consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and five years with the Housing Corporation where he held the post of Head of Financial Appraisal (North). He has previously worked at a large chemical company in a number of finance roles, having originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.
David provides the financial support and analysis for our projects, and with PricewaterhouseCoopers provided consultancy support for local authorities, ALMOs and housing associations in a number of areas including business planning and stock transfer. In his time at the Housing Corporation he was responsible for the financial regulation of some 400 housing associations in the North of England, working closely with Boards and Senior Management at many levels.
